'I was sick and you visited me'
Beth Zion has a long
history of visiting those who live in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living
Facilities. We entertain the residents with music, dance and a word of
encouragement from Rabbi Jan. We don't know who is blessed more...the
residents or us! Everyone is always invited to come along with us and
minister to the residents by holding their hands, sitting with them, praying
with them and sharing stories with them. Won't you consider coming along?
Hands of Mercy is an active part of Beth Zion. Participants pray, make phone calls, send cards and visit the sick in the hospital as well as regular outings to nursing homes. This has proven to be a huge blessing not only to the recipients, but also to the ones who serve.

'I was in prison and you came to visit me'
Prison Ministry is not for everyone...just ask James, our Prison
Ministry Coordinator. You need to go through a thorough
training program held by the prison facility and when you go , make
sure you don't lose your name tag...they may not let you out (no
kidding!) But it is a great mitzvah to visit those who are
imprisoned and minister God's love to them.
